friends! I do hope you are doing fine today and you remember that I have
to show you the second part of our previous post with a topic ‘How to
get your point across to any personality type?’. I do not want to take a
lot of your time, but as I have promised, I am about giving you a new information here an finally finishing this issue!
So first of all I would like to remind you that in the first part of our discussion has been connected with the question ‘how to talk with the people?’ and
we have been trying to understand what the psychology is, how it can
help us in online marketing, what personality types we have and how to
work with each of them so that your product/service will be in need.
The idea of today’s post is to give you some helpful knowledge
about the technical part of the communication between you (as online
entrepreneur) and your future customer (user or partner). I mean that
apart from the speech, its content and the value of your offer, there is
one more component, which is not less important – the preparation to
your ‘presentation’ should be well-organized!
If you have even a small experience
in network marketing and you know some basical stuff connected with
this work, you will probably agree with me that not only words are
central and play the head role here, but also the ‘picture’ of those
words is significant. It is proved that people perceive a new
information in a visual way better than in any others, so a good
‘picture’ will be a big plus for you and your presentation. But what should you do so that this so-called ‘picture’ will become a masterpiece?
Firstly you need to choose a way of communication with
your future clients. There can be a few of them: a face-to-face
meeting, an online presentation, a skype call, a viber call, a slide
show, a chatting etc. I will highly recommend you a meeting with a
person or at least a call in skype because these ways seem to be the
most perspective ones: it will be a faster, easier and more influential.
When you make your choice and think what way will be the best variation exactly for you, then the second thing you should do is to prepare for this event to get a great result of it. There are few factors, which can make or not make your dialogue with a potential customer:
- An appearance. You should always seem to be a business person and show your audience that you respect not only them but also the business that you do. Formal clothes will be official, representative, tidy and even convincing. Short and jeans will be possible the best look that can be. You will see by your practice that people will listen to you more attentively and will value each word that you will say during your performance.
- The conditions. When I say ‘conditions’ I mean a place where you will be talking to people. Obviously one of the greatest variant will be an office, a cabinet or a conference hall (if it is possible) if you have a quite big audience. As a good addition, I can suggest you to use some devices so that your speech will be corroborated with the audio and especially video material. The required conditions will be almost the same if you decide to make a call in skype with camera: then you should take into consideration the background – people are very curious when the watch something new and they will try to examine each detail of you interior and pay even the most of their attention to it. So take care of your skype presentation and try to put away everything that can become excess.
- The tools in use. Here we will talk about the technical side in its main meaning: you will have to check each device that you are going to use so that your potential clients will see that you have prepared well and your ‘equipment’ won’t fail. Also it will show them that you are a true well-organized person and will support the first point of our list. And I am again putting the stress to the skype calls! If you are going to talk to the person by skype using your phone, tablet or a computer, be careful and check your internet connection, camera visibility and microphone (!) work one more time!
- The manner. The last important tip from our list is the manner. It includes the behavior, mimics, gestures, poses and even breathing. I suppose that everything is clear here, you should be moderately discreet and active, serious and funny, complicated and simple, in other words, you should combine everything in yourself and be pleasing for everybody in the room (or in a skype call/conference). You ought to remember that people are looking at you and listening to you only so each movement of yours can be judged by the audience. Sometimes we have to be tricky, we should reach the moment when everybody will love us and enjoy working with us as a result.
As you can see,
there are a lot of different details, which can influence the outcome
of our work, and that is why if we want to ‘be at the pedestal of honor’,
we have to study on and work on ourselves. This is a part of our job,
so do not be skeptical, try it by yourself and then your skill of a good
speaker will achieve its top! :)
